For many years, I painted in traditional as well as water mixable oils but for the past six years, since living in Newfoundland, I have painted mainly in acrylics and most of my work is done in my studio. Recently, however, I have begun paintings en plein air.

Landscapes and seascapes are the dominate theme of my paintings but I have also done Newfoundland outports, abstracts and a couple of portraits as well.

Recently, I became involved with a local community theatre group - The St. John's Players - and have painted backdrops for their productions of "A Christmas Carol" by Charles Dickens and "The Good Doctor" by Neil Simon. Those paintings were done on a 8"x10" canvas and projected onto a 16' x 20' theatre scrum. In addition, I have also began teaching in a small group setting.
